Dear Property Owner,
As part of the Kitsap County Comprehensive Plan Update, County Staff are reviewing individual applications for zoning changes. If you recently received a white postcard with a green stripe, it is because a property owner near you has requested a rezone. The information about that property is listed on the postcard as well as the date, time and location of the public hearing regarding the property.
Public hearings for the individual zoning change requests are planned for March 17, 2016 and March 23, 2016 beginning at 3:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. respectively at the Kitsap County Administration Building in Port Orchard. Neighbors within 400 to 800 feet of the property (depending upon the type of request) received white postcard explaining the potential changes.
